Information we collect

• Information you provide: name, email address, telephone number, billing or pickup details, account credentials, order notes, form messages, and preferences.
• Order information: products, quantities, prices, discounts, pickup or shipping selection, payment status, refunds, and transaction identifiers. We do not store full payment-card numbers; a connected payment processor handles payment details under its own privacy terms.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location, cookie identifiers, and site-performance data collected by WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Jetpack, and related services.
• Communications: messages sent through our contact forms, customer-service correspondence, reviews, and voluntary survey or harvest-alert responses.

How we use information

• Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and storefront.
• Process orders, reserve inventory, coordinate pickup or eligible shipping, issue receipts, and handle returns or refunds.
• Respond to questions and provide customer service.
• Send order-related notices and, only when you choose to subscribe, harvest alerts or marketing messages.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
• Maintain tax, accounting, inventory, and business records and comply with legal obligations.

When information is shared

We share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that help us operate the business, such as WordPress.com/Automattic, WooCommerce, hosting and security providers, email services, accounting tools, and payment or delivery providers that we later activate. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.

Payment information

Online payment processing is not yet active. Before launch, we will identify the enabled payment provider at checkout. When a customer pays, payment details are transmitted directly to that provider. Paradise Roots receives payment status and limited transaction information needed to fulfill and document the order.

Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain required tax and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message or by contacting us.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control, subject to recordkeeping and legal requirements.
• You may update account information through My Account when customer accounts are enabled.
• You may control cookies through your browser and supported site controls.

Children, external links, and changes

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites’ policies. We may update this policy as the farm, store, service providers, or legal requirements change; the revised date at the top will show the latest version.
